Using the skills acquired from my career as a machinist I began sculpting whimsical abstract creatures from the gears and sprockets I machine along with other industrial parts, scrap metal and found objects. I'm a self taught artist with the world around me being my classroom. My inspirations come from my exploration of that world, often blending the shapes of the natural with those of the industrial. Some say my work has a slightly twisted vision, so I combined that with my street address and Twisted 315 was born.

My work has been shown at several galleries and festivals throughout the Chicago area.

Creating for my own enjoyment was the start of my journey, but seeing the faces of others light up as they viewed my work was like opening a door. I stepped through and became an artist.
